Let’s take a look at some of the truly big men at D3 Men’s Volleyball. 89 players are currently listed at 6’7″ or taller in the country that participate at the D3 level. One player is 7 foot plus, 4 players over 6’10”, and we have 11 at 6’9″. Those are some big dudes. Of the 89 players listed, 25 are new on the scene for 2026 as freshman. The 89 players represent just 4% of the D3 Men’s volleyball overall rosters.
Areas contributing to the addition of these players are mostly California, New York, and Illinois, with PA and Virginia close behind. 15% of the overall players at 6’7″ or over come from California, 13% from New York, 12% from Illinois, and 9% from both PA and VA.
