Inside Hitter will deploy and apply several ranking algorithms to Men’s College Volleyball starting for the Men’s 2022 College seasons. The ranking algorithm is a proprietary formula to determine the strength of each school and team in the country.
IHV will mathematically evaluate all men’s college teams on the landscape. Each team will receive a rating based on the algorithm which measures several factors including but not limited to schedule strength, point differential, recent trends, and numerous other factors. All of our ratings and rankings are solely based on statistics and math and removes the subjective nature of typical ranking websites.
We will provide ranking and ratings across all divisions (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JC, and CC). IHV will present these rankings by each division as well as for all levels. Our algorithm ranks all teams in the country, not just the top 15 or Top 25.
Math formulas cannot factor in injuries, player rotations, and various other details that can skew a teams performance on any given game day. But we will stand by our ranking algorithm and conduct game predictions for future games to prove our accuracy level.
