Love your site. Lots of great bells and whistles. Wanted to simply state that I believe your model for teams ranked 35ish and above has some glitches, probably driven by dependent scheduling quirks producing wins and losses by teams in that realm. I find it interesting the propensity of matches being played by teams I believe to be both under-estimated by your model or teams both over-estimated seem to dwarf those that are played between each. This might explain a model not being able to gravitate to a cogent equilibrium as late as 9 weeks into the season? That or a pre-season ranking that had too many inconsistencies to begin with, making it nearly impossible to right itself in a reasonable amount of time? I look forward to the evolution of your player rankings, too. Very disheartening to hear St. Francis is dropping its athletics program! Keep up the good work…
