Here are the final regular season standings for Men’s D3 Volleyball. Fifty (50) teams have already had their season end as Conference playoffs and tournaments begin on Tuesday. All remaining teams are vying for one of the 16 slots in the NCAA tournament. Eleven of the bids are created automatically by winning conference tournaments. And 5 at-large bids remain to be awarded to those outstanding teams who did win their conference tournament. Good luck to all remaining teams this week…

I believe NECC Doesn’t get an auto bid this year nor does CSAC, either. So It looks like Springfield and Santa Cruz get the two from the combined “Independents,” including the teams from the NECC and the CSAC which were eligible also for those 2, with Endicott, Nichols, and Lancaster Bible (together with Cal – Lu, too) not making the cut. This puts At-Large bids at an even higher premium. Likely going to perceived 2nd best teams from the strongest conferences when it all shakes out. FYI: Your conference odds are inflated higher against the top teams than is true because the odds you give add up to 70% to 80% every time, making it so there is a 20% to 30% chance in every conference that nobody wins? Do you know something about the world order none of the rest of us have heard for that to be true? I would like to wager on the best two teams odds and make a killing in Vegas! LOL
For example: Even if you consider New Paltz the equal to either Fisher or NYU, they get a bye to the semifinal that NYU & Fisher have to play for, so the odds for New Paltz would have to be half what it would be for either of the other two based on an assumption of equivalency for all 3.
