No huge surprises in the NCAA D3 Men’s Volleyball tournament Friday. Inside Hitter’s last ranking had 7 winners in the 8 games played by the higher ranked team. Wentworth’s win over St. John Fisher kept us from the perfect record.
Some great match-ups in the weekend finale Saturday will widdle the playing field down to the final 4 as teams punch their ticket to the final weekend championship tournament at Stevenson University in Maryland.
Can #1 Vassar hold off a rejuvenated and hard charging SVU squad with just 3 losses on the year? Can NCC make it a clean sweep of defending champs Carthage this season?
