The importance of passing in-system can never be under-emphasized. Finding players that can pass is often team’s biggest dilemmas. Everyone wants to hit, block, or set, especially young players coming up through youth programs. The art of the volleyball pass is getting more recognition with younger players as their coach’s drill in its importance.
IH wanted to take a closer look in the serve/receive category and highlight some of our nation’s unsung heroes at the D3 level. We focused on workhorses, those that have over 150 attempts thus far in the season through week 5. We ranked those top players by Receive % and want to shine the light on this select group.
