And just like that, the regular season has come to a close… there may be just a small amount of matches other than conference and NCAA playoffs from this point forward, but most of the regular season is in the books. Conference matchups are now set. Our bracketology below shows each of the matchups for each conference and aligns future matchups if playoffs are over 4 teams. Eleven of the 16 NCAA Championship slots will be automatic bids for conference playoff winners. Three independent slots are reserved for teams not in conferences. And 2 bids will be awarded to conference teams who do not win their conference tournament.
